Reports

The Department of Economic Development is committed to promoting high-quality development and renewed investment in Lewisville. The department has worked diligently to expand daily functions and long-range planning capacity to ensure that Lewisville is well-positioned for the future. Lewisville’s makeup is unique in that the community is largely developed with limited vacant land available. As is typical with first-ring suburbs, much of the city’s initial development and infrastructure is beginning to age and is ripe for revitalization. This creates a dynamic and challenging setting in which the community must carefully plan for its economic future, involving multiple stakeholders such as landowners, developers, lease-holders, and community organizations. The reports below not only focus on annual accomplishments that help ensure Lewisville's growth but reflect a strong commitment to the Big Moves identified in the Lewisville 2025 Vision plan.
